Source:- Google.com.pkI am the owner of ManMagnet Lingerie, an on-line store that offers plus size corsets, bustiers, hosiery and other plus size lingerie and more for the plus size woman. I was a military brat and I am a veteran of the United States Air Force. I like animals, playing basketball and the drums and my other hobbies are listening to music, acting, dancing and going to the movies. As my business succeeds, my goal is to give back to my community and donate to local organizations such as the SPCA, Meals on Wheels, WEAVE, Women’s Empowerment, the Independent Living Program and others. Well that’s a start. Once I begin to get into this blogging thing, I will reveal a little more about myself.
Hey all you plus-size beauties and your beautiful lovers out there! Valentine’s Day is around the corner and what’s a better gift than a beautiful plus size corset? Well, as I was perusing the internet, I ran into some great-looking corsets. So here are my favorite picks of the week!

Before starting my on-line business in plus-size lingerie, 2010 was a very humbling year for me. In June, I lost the apartment I had been renting for seven years to foreclosure. (I lived next door to serial killer Dorothea Puente’s old house.) I was the last tenant to go and I stayed there for as long as I could without paying rent for the last few months. Before I left, there were two homeless veterans living in the apartment next to mine. They were working with a lawyer who was trying to get them their Social Security benefits. They were nice guys, but they sure did smoke a lot of cigarettes! I was always afraid to step into their place, especially after I had already taken a shower. I just knew I would end up smelling like cigarettes after I left their place! Anyway, I ended up getting paid $2000 from the company that had taken over the property through the Cash for Keys program. Initially, they were trying to take me to court for non-payment of rent. But it all worked out. I used most of the money to get some much needed maintenance on my truck. Then in September, I was terminated from my job of 8.5 years with the County for a violation of their internet policy which I may elaborate more on in the future. To make a long story short, this little incident snowballed and I was terminated in September 2010. The worst part of being terminated was that the County denied my unemployment benefits after working for them for 8.5 years! I tried to appeal the determination but to no avail. So now I was homeless and jobless (except for some part-time income from taking care of my mom.) But sometimes I wouldn’t get paid for that either because my mom would have a share of cost. It’s tough. I have been working for 35 years since I was 15 years old. And now I have been unemployed for 16 months! That’s the longest period of time that I have been unemployed. In the old days, it was easy to find another job through newspapers or a temp agency. But since the economy is bad, there are a lot more folks out there trying to find work now. It’s crazy! So I decided at this point, maybe I should start my own business. Working for somebody else for 10 or 20 years just doesn’t seem to be as secure as it used to be. I bought a book off an infomercial on affiliate marketing then after reading that and finding it wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought, I enrolled in a PMI Education course to help learn about starting and marketing a business and eventually helping me with the affiliate marketing phase of business. And that’s where I am right now. I decided that I love lingerie, so why not sell lingerie? My niche market is plus-size lingerie. I’m still struggling trying to get traffic to my website because marketing on-line is all new to me. There is so much to learn and I have a long learning curve. I want everything to happen yesterday but it just takes time. I need to keep the faith and keep working at it. It’ll happen…I hope…
